We have been teaching for a week in Sweden at the Engelsberg Summer School in Classical Architecture.

We have been appointed to convert an existing mixed use building in Hackney, London to provide a design studio, family house and separate flats

We have won an invited competition for an estate building on an estate in the South of England for the National Trust.

We have been appointed for extension and refurbishment works to a listed house in Islington.
Planning Permission has been granted for our project for the extension of a large house in Blackheath.

December 2016

We have been invited to present at the Architecture Foundation’s event Introducing: New Housing (2) event on 8th December at the Royal College of Art. The second of two events, it features “some of the best emerging architects and most progressive housing developers working in London today.” Tickets available here.

We have been appointed to develop site strategies for 30 new dwellings on a site in Cambridgeshire.

The National Trust has asked us to design a welcome kiosk at Cliveden Gardens, following the refreshment kiosk we worked on for them this Summer.

November 2016

S&T appointed for extension and refurbishment works to a listed house in Islington.
We visited Rome with our Kingston Unit 6 students to consider 2000years of classical architecture and to research the Piazza Augusto Imperatore from 1938 by Vittorio Ballio Morpurgo.

September 2016

S&T appointed to extend and refurbish a large house in Blackheath.
For 2016-17 our postgraduate design Unit 6 at Kingston University is entitled ‘Relief’ and will focus on the exploration of facades and the language of classical architecture.

October 2016

We visited Berlin to meet with the architect Paul Kahlfeldt to discuss the practice of classical architecture and to visit some of his works. Paul generously gave his time and presented to us the exhibition and site for the Werkbundstadt Berlin housing project.

March 2016

We have been shortlisted in the competition to find an architect for the redevelopment of Byron House, the west London home of the Institute of Psychoanalysis. The shortlist was selected through an open competition organised by the Architecture Foundation.

The Institute was founded in 1924 by a colleague of Freud’s and has an ambitious strategy for growth. The project involves the refurbishment of consulting rooms and their archive, and the redevelopment of their main lecture room and reception area.

January 2016

We have been selected for inclusion in the Architecture Foundation’s ‘New Architects 3’ book, the definitive survey of Britain’s best emerging practices.

November 2015

Planning permission granted for our project for the conversion of a fire station in a Warwickshire village into a live/work space for an artist and designer.

Study trip to Stockholm, Malmö, Faaborg and Copenhagen with students of Kingston MArch Unit 6.
