Almondbury, West Yorkshire
Complete re-modelling of the existing bungalow, to provide an additional first floor and transform the architectural character of the building. The existing walls are extended vertically and rendered, lowering the cills of the existing windows but retaining their suburban proportions. The new roof extends the pitch of the existing and retains the overhanging eaves to front and side, but to the rear the fenestration is given a more elegant proportion and brick pilasters are used to give the garden elevation a different nature.
